If we check an order first or need a detail for the invoice, the 24 hours start later; if we do not accept an order, we refund the full amount. How ordering works

If we cannot reach your site or need a detail for the invoice, we ask you first.
Agencies: we are preparing a partner programme. Ask us about it.
Ask about the programme: info@five49.comScope of testing: 24 automated checks look for failures in 15 of the 55 WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA success criteria. They cannot show that a criterion is met; all 55 need manual review. This is not a conformance statement, not legal advice and no assurance of any legal outcome.
Home pages of 75 shops, tested with our own scanner between 19 and 26 September 2026.
61 of 75
home pages had no link our scanner could identify as an accessibility statement.
Own automated measurement with our scanner as it stood at the time, 19 to 26 September 2026, n = 75 home pages. We do not name the shops. They come from our own list of potential customers; the selection is not representative. This measurement does not show whether a shop has an accessibility statement on another page.
An overlay changes the page in the visitor’s browser after it has loaded. The code your server delivers stays as it was. Two of the cases below concern overlays; the third is a court order on a retailer’s own website.
The US Federal Trade Commission alleged that accessiBe’s claim that its widget could make any website WCAG-compliant was false, misleading or unsubstantiated. The final order dates from 22 April 2025.
A florist that had subscribed to the UserWay overlay sued UserWay after it was itself sued over the accessibility of its website. A US magistrate judge in Delaware recommended that the claims for consumer fraud and negligent misrepresentation proceed.

In interim proceedings, a court in Caen gave Carrefour six months to make its website and app accessible in full. Being 71 % accessible to blind and partially sighted people was not enough for the court.
For every barrier we find: the page, its location in the page's HTML, the WCAG criterion, its severity and a suggested fix; the free scan shows this for the three most severe. The Snapshot adds a draft accessibility statement. Every report carries a date and an evidence ID.
No. Our automated checks look for failures in 15 of the 55 WCAG 2.2 A and AA criteria. They can find a missing label; they cannot judge whether an error message is clear or an image description fits. That takes a person with a screen reader, for all 55 criteria, and every report says so.
The responsibility stays with you as the operator of the shop. We do not promise any legal outcome. What we give you is a dated record of what was tested and what we found, and you may use it with authorities and courts.
An overlay adds a script that changes the page in the visitor's browser; the code your server delivers stays the same. Send us your address and we will show you the findings in that code, with the widget installed.
The free scan usually arrives the same working day. A Snapshot arrives within 24 hours of payment. If we cannot reach your site or need a detail for the invoice, we ask once, and if we hear nothing for 14 days, you get your money back without asking.
With Sprint we write the code patches for Shopify, WooCommerce and WordPress themes, with a dated before and after. You or your agency apply them; we never ask for your logins. Sprint is not yet bookable.
Yes. We test the HTML your server delivers, so Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce, Magento or your own build make no difference to the test. We do not score pages that build their content only with JavaScript in the browser, and we tell you so.
We read public pages only and follow your robots.txt. We store the addresses of the pages we tested, the findings and the code excerpt of each finding; never whole pages and never customer data from your shop.
Send us your shop address. We test the home page and reply with the three most severe findings, free and without a call.
